SysMotion-Cerv is a protocol for evaluating joint mobility of the head and neck through the measurement of joint excursion (also called Range Of Motion, ROM) related to flexion-extension, lateral flexion and rotation movements to verify degrees of freedom articulate, the effectiveness of treatment programs and patient progress. SysMotion, is a new and innovative system of sensorized units applicable to the body and connected via Bluetooth to the Personal Computer. The base unit contains a 10-axis accelerometer, (3 axis accelerometers, 3 magnetic axes, 3 gyroscope axes, 1 pressure sensor).
The protocols are based on angular measurements of the three movements (Rotation, Flexion / Extension, Latero-Flexion) according to the INTERNATIONAL ARTICULAR MEASUREMENT METHOD S.F.T.R.
